In 2015, the Tavern Store opened under the umbrella of the Heritage Arts Center. This unique store now features artwork from over 100 local artisans from the Northern Neck, with a constantly changing inventory of beautiful and unique hand-made artisan ware. In addition to the store’s inventory of one-of-a-kind items and gifts, visitors can see our resident artisans at work in their studios, displaying jewelry, handsewn items, pottery and more! We have four resident guilds on our campus with the Tavern Quilt Guild and the Tavern Spinners & Weavers Guild housed inside our historic building. Both the Heathsville Blacksmith Forge and the Tavern Woodworkers Guild have their own separate shops behind the main building. You are sure to be amazed at the craftsmanship of our artisans and we look forward to your visit.
